Hong Kong High Performance Computing Association Debuts, Spearheading High-Performance Computing Progress in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong High Performance Computing Association (HKHPC) has officially been registered in accordance with the provisions of section 5A(1) of the Societies Ordinance. The inauguration of HKHPC marks a landmark moment in the development of high-performance computing (HPC) in the region. This esteemed coalition, comprising preeminent technology enterprises, pioneering industry figures, acclaimed researchers, and dedicated enthusiasts, is poised to cultivate collaborative endeavours, drive technological breakthroughs, and expedite the integration of high-performance computing solutions across various sectors.

In an era where HPC is becoming integral to diverse fields including public services, scientific exploration, healthcare, finance, and beyond, the establishment of a synergistic forum for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and technological developments is crucial. HKHPC is committed to serving as this dynamic nexus, enhancing dialogue and cooperation among key participants to propel the HPC landscape forward.

The official commencement of HKHPC will be celebrated with a Founding Ceremony, to be hosted in the near future. This significant event will assemble esteemed experts and industry forerunners to impart insights, showcase groundbreaking research, and deliberate on the evolving trends in HPC.
